1940's Swami Talking Mystery Ouija Board

Ouija in the 1940's was dominated by many manufactures. The world was a unsure place then and the sales of boards boomed throughout the USA.
One company in Chicago USA called Gift Craft manufactured the Swami board. The board is heavy early masonite with a colourful paper screen print of a mixture of zodiac and middle eastern traditional images possibly made famous by many light relief Hollywood movies of the Day.
The first print of these boards had the word Ouija talking board printed on the board this later change to Mystery talking board due to possible copy write infringements with Fuld.
Complete sets sell well and the boards are a must in any collection . Condition does vary as the screen print was prone to scratching and fade.
The back of the board consists of a master play board for checkers, chess, solitaire, gin rummy or even as stated letter writing.
