William Fuld boards
during the 1960's in the
USA sold millions, more at one time than the game Monopoly.
Overseas manufactured boards under license and did not sell as well. The UK was the next biggest market with Canada. Australia has a very luke warm response to the OUIJA and the Dunlop company that made the board and planchette in Australia made very few.
For Sale Late 1950's Fuld 601
This is the larger board, 15 x 22 inches. (Fuld Baltimore)
This one has a story, purchased September 2011 a simple estate sale transaction was to send it from Northern Central USA to Australia. Item was posted priority with tracking. It left the Post office fine and travelled by road to Chicago airport for loading to Sydney Australia.
That's
where the mystery takes place It took another 3 months to arrive in
Australia.
When it did finally arrive it had been water damaged. The Item had not been opened and sustained some minor damage to the top right hand side.
It may be removed with a solvent but I would leave that to the experts.
The board has no buckles and the rest presents as excellent. The Planchette is very good with the clear disc and brass pin in tact.
The outer box has damage on corner but all else not bad with usual storage and shelf wear.
I would love to know where it went.!

The board is thicker and heavier than the US models as is the planchette. Outer box is in average condition but board etc is excellent. A rare find

1940"s Ouija Queen Nebraska Toy Company If this grand old lady could write a book it would be a beauty. Discovered in the heart of New York City this board about 70 years old has seen world wars stock market boom and bust and technology.. The Ouija Queen board has had some hard rides on a few dark night and has some battle scars . Some scratching and scuffs. Planchette is good does not have a packaging box. Nice low ride planchette makes it very easy to use. Possibly a more experienced board user would attach themselves to this grand ol dame.
